With signed letter from William Porter (Christie's) "I can confirm that the above drawing was purchased at the sale of Modern British & Irish Art at Christie's King Street on 26th November 2015 (lot 106). This work formed part of a collection of drawings that Christie's offered on behalf of the estate of L.S. Lowry. It was therefore inherited directly from Lowry and had never been offered at auction previously".
